The Feldman Family Wart Treatment
I mentioned last week that I never treat my family. When my wife had an ingrown toenail, I sent her to see Dr. Feldman.
Not everyone follows that adage.
We recently added a new medical device to the office called Swift that is used for warts. I didn’t know that both Neil Feldman and his wife had some pesky warts that wouldn’t go away.
I watched as Neil treated his wife, and then he let me treat his warts to learn about our new device.
For those who have not heard of this device, it is a sleek-looking device that delivers focused microwaves to the tissue surrounding the wart to create an immune response. This allows your body to fight the warts and get rid of them.
Usually, when we get new technology, we like to treat (practice) it on one another before we use it on patients.
Wart or not, we all tried it to feel the patient experience, and Dr. Feldman had the standard 6 rounds of heating on the skin.
I asked him to record a short video to share his experience. You can watch it below.
