Happy New Year from CMP

Office Fun - Pics of our Holiday Party

We had our holiday party at Apex in Marlborough. You can see. Dr. Feldman and Dr. Saviet with their racing hats on. I didn’t race this year because the other year I got sick while going around all the curves on the race track.

The results are in you can see “dr speed” won the race, can you guess who that is?

Dr. Ben Saviet is the fastest of the group but Dr. Feldman was in close second in the race.

We have a gift swap as part of our part and did some bowling as well and it was a nice time with the whole office.

Patient success story

“At my most recent appointment my foot was so painful that I thought I would not be able to dance in the local showcase.”

Dr P is a very good listener as well as good podiatrist. He always hears my concerns and responds in a caring manner. At my most recent appointment my foot was so painful that I thought I would not be able to dance in the local showcase. He heard my concerns, discussed alternatives and solved the problem for me.

This was a nice review from one of my patients and she even sent me a picture of her back on her feet dancing. Watch the video below.

Do all warts need to be treated by a podiatrist?

Many patients wonder when they should be seen for their warts after they try their own home treatments with the acids and freezing products you purchase in the pharmacy. However, even if you are being treated for a few months by your primary care doctor and they aren’t getting better you might need to see a specialist.

I may difference is the tools in the toolbox. In our office we have a few treatments that work very well and if they don’t we can surgically remove them. I feel a good rule of thumb is to have a specialist help with treatment after 3-6 months of no improvement with your warts on your foot.

If they are on a painful area of the foot you might need to be seen sooner. Sometimes warts on the heel or front of the foot can make you limp or stumble when walking and those I would get them checked out sooner.
